Don’t TELL us you stand with our communities and refuse to ACT...
SHOW us that you stand with our communities and take ACTIONS to support AB 2700 and to make the bill STRONGER through amendments as it moves through the Senate.
Fellow Wildfire Survivors, please see the attached editorial from the Press Democrat in response to In Your Corner - The Press Democrat. This editorial does a great job articulating what is at stake with AB 2700 and our fight for justice. We will be encouraging broad bipartisan support for this bill!!! This is critically important for wildfire survivors, our families and our communities.
We stand ready to strengthen this bill as it moves through committee! Who will stand with us?
Who will hold PG&E and other investor-owned utilities accountable for the commitments they made to their victims?
Who will prioritize wildfire survivor restitution and community investment over MORE supports for institutional utility investors (hedge funds)?
Who will fight for justice and full compensation?
